Monoprint privacy policy

Updated 5 October 2026

Monoprint creates code images locally on your Mac. You do not need an account to use the app.

Your code and files

Syntax highlighting, preview rendering and exports run on your device. Monoprint does not send your snippets, imported source files, custom fonts or exported images to us.

Saved drafts

The app saves your current snippet and settings locally so you can continue later. This draft stays on your device. Local files may be included in backups managed by you or your operating system.

Exports and clipboard

You choose where to save exported files. Copy and drag actions place the exported image on the system clipboard or pass it to the app you choose. The destination app and any sharing service you use have their own privacy practices.

Analytics and advertising

Monoprint does not include in-app analytics, advertising or tracking. Apple may provide App Store or operating-system diagnostics under the choices you make in your Apple settings.
